School

Paathshala is Western Australia's longest running Hindi Language Community School by Hindi Samaj of WA Inc. It is supported by Office of Multicultural Interest, Western Australia. We are member of Community Languages WA & Modern Language Teachers Association WA

STUDENTS

Our students come from various backgrounds and are diverse in their age, linguistic skills, as well as their interests. The minimum age for enrolment is 5 years.

TEACHERS

We have a very dedicated and knowledgeable group of teachers who are passionate about sharing their love for Hindi language and are competent and committed to the cause of spreading the knowledge. All of our teachers hold a valid 'Working with Children' certificate.

VOLUNTEER

CHILD SAFETY

Paathshala Management, staff and volunteers are motivated to do what is best for children and young people. Hindi Samaj & Paathshala are working to ensure child safety and wellbeing, for example, by having a child safety and wellbeing policy or screening volunteers for suitability to work with children. We consciously and systematically:
  • Creates an environment where children’s safety and wellbeing is at the centre of thought, values and actions.
  • Creates conditions that reduce the likelihood of harm to children and young people.
  • Creates conditions that increase the likelihood of identifying any harm.
  • Responds to any concerns, disclosures, allegations or suspicions of harm.
